Got a call from someone claiming if I didn’t press 1, they’d arrest me for tax fraud. I mean, why warn someone if they actually did something illegal? They’d just catch you straight away, right? Total scam, best just to ignore it.

My phone didn’t show it as a saved contact so I ignored the call. Seeing the other reviews, I’m glad I didn’t pick up.

Got a robo call claiming I was in trouble with taxes and that I'd be arrested unless I hit 1. Definitely ignored it, don't fall for that rubbish.

had this call just now, an automated voice claiming to be from hmrc saying i was involved in fraud and was asked to hit one on the phone. said if i didnt, i'd get arrested and a warrant out for me. obviously i didnt press anything and so far, no police knocking on my door! what a load of rubbish.
