I received a call from this number too, claiming that I would face arrest unless I either pressed 1 or disconnected. They apparently had some nonsense about a fraud case linked to my name. Utter rubbish! Best to block this number and avoid answering altogether!

I received a rather alarming automated message claiming to be from HMRC. They threatened that my failure to press 1 would result in my arrest. It’s quite unsettling! I urge everyone to block this number immediately! - caller: 0300 200 0176
