I received a phone call from someone claiming there’s a legal matter pending against me, and that I could be taken into custody shortly unless I pressed 1 to stay on the line. Quite alarming, to say the least!

Got a call from someone claiming to be Inland Revenue, threatening I'd be arrested if I didn’t hit 1. Total scam alert! It’s so cruel, especially since older folks might get really scared by this sort of thing.
