I just received a rather dodgy phone call purporting to be from O2. They hung up abruptly when I probed about how they obtained my number. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

Didn’t pick up and no message was left, so I’m guessing it’s one of those annoying spam calls.

This number rang me on my cell, sounded like a call centre from India, even though it showed Cardiff on my caller ID. The bloke was mumbling something about O2. When I asked him to say it again and said "Oh, really?" he just hung up on me. Classic scam, I reckon.
