Not long ago, I received a call from this number right after someone asked me for a verification code linked to my O2 account. During the call, this chap tried to entice me with a 40% discount on my bill, insisting I provide that code. Talk about dodgy!

I keep getting loads of calls every day claiming to be from O2. They send a text with a security code and say they'll give me a 30% discount on my bill. The weird thing is, the text doesn't come from the usual O2 number, although it does say O2UK. I've fallen for this kind of call twice now, it's really annoying.
