The chap claimed to be an engineer, suggesting that I might save money outside of my existing policy. He asked for the last four digits of my card and then bizarrely requested I confirm the first twelve. That raised some alarm bells for me, so I ended the call. However, he had the audacity to ring back multiple times, and my daughter answered. She firmly told him that reputable brokers wouldn’t connect you directly to someone offering cheaper rates and pointed out that we couldn’t find any mention of his so-called company, 'Total Support Solutions', in any of our documents. After blocking his number, he tried to contact us seven times in ten minutes!
