NHS Wales Track & Trace called me. Legit, but pretty useless since they rang a whole six days after we began isolating due to Covid, asking about contacts from the last 48 hours only! We did LFTs on day 5 and 6, both still positive, yet the gov website marked these as fresh cases instead of continuing ones! The bloke on the line was really courteous and said sorry for the mix-up.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from track and trace. I’m isolating at home coz I’ve got covid, and she asked me where I work to complete some details. I felt a bit suspicious at first but she seemed satisfied with what I said and that was the end of it. Seems like a real call to me.

Since I wasn’t sure who he really was, I said I’d be happy to share personal details but never had to before. He was polite but wouldn’t say much else except that I’d been in contact with someone with Covid. Then he said he couldn’t continue without my details and ended the call.

They called me twice. I missed the first call, but on the second, I picked up. It was a woman with a Welsh accent saying she was from Track and Trace. I might’ve believed her, but then she started asking for a Darren Morris. I’ve had loads of scam calls over the years from everyone wanting Darren Morris - from accident claims to debt collectors - so why would she be any different? Pretty sure it’s just another con.
