This number has rung me a few times claiming it’s about my home appliance insurance and a discount they said I was entitled to since I hadn’t made any claims. They also wanted to know if I still had the appliances covered under the policy. When I requested they post me a physical copy of the details, the woman on the phone sighed heavily and just hung up. Still waiting for that paper copy, no sign of it yet!

Got a call from some appliance company who told me I hadn’t filed any claims in the past year, so I’d get a discount for the next 12 months. I told them I’m not even insured with them, but they kept saying I was owed a discount anyway. They didn't identify themselves at all, so we couldn't decide whether to pick up, and on top of that they left no voicemail which makes me suspicious. Luckily I blocked this one but I'm sure more will pop up with almost the same digits. I didn’t pick up as I didn’t know the number. Later, I got a voicemail about some kind of home appliance insurance. I don’t have any such cover, so it’s pretty clear it’s a scam. Apparently, she’ll be ringing back tomorrow. Not holding my breath!

Got a call outta nowhere about some dodgy home appliances insurance, seemed totally fake to me. I've gone ahead and blocked the scammer's number.
