Phone number ☎️ 02921390005 👆 is reported as a persistent nuisance number tied to various scams primarily involving fake domestic appliance insurance and energy or loft insulation offers. Callers often claim to be from legitimate companies like "Domestic & General" or "The Green Builders" but are repeatedly described as scammers trying to obtain bank details or personal information. The same number's ringing again, trying to trick folks by pretending to return money they lost before. They're asking for your bank info and personal details, so watch out and don’t fall for it! ⚠️

RIP-OFF ARTISTS! They’ve called me a bunch of times now, using numbers from places all over the UK - Aberdeen, Edinburgh, loads around Scotland, then Sheffield, Cardiff and other bits of Wales, plus Manchester, Tottenham and random spots in the London area. They always claim to be "The Green Builders" but don’t be fooled, they’re just scammers. They try to pitch all sorts of stuff like improved loft insulation or cheaper energy deals, but it’s all just a con.

I got a call from someone telling me my loft insulation was outdated and full of fibre that could give me cancer. They tried to convince me to give my bank details for payment. I got a bit wary and ended up refusing to use their payment link.

Someone called me about loft insulation and immediately asked for my bank details. Just so you know, this number has been reported to Ofcom. Stay careful folks!

SCAMS Everywhere! These lot have kept ringing me from all over Scotland like Aberdeen and Edinburgh, plus odd places in Wales like Cardiff, and even London areas such as Tottenham and Manchester. They're always trying to sell you something - calling themselves "The Green Builders," but it's all a load of rubbish. They're just tricksters pushing loft insulation, cheaper energy deals, or making up stories about accidents so they can “help” with insurance claims. At the end of the day, it's all about getting your bank info. I’ve reported them loads of times to Action Fraud and the cops. The police mentioned these scammers keep switching their phone numbers, but they’re confident they’ll catch them eventually.

Absolutely annoying, keeps ringing non-stop. They say it's for white goods insurance but it sounded fishy, said they were from domestic and general offering a deal on a policy I never had. When I questioned them, they just hung up. Best to just ignore such calls.

Just like loads of others have said, this ‘Mason’ was a total scammer. He came across as really pushy, and when I told him he was being rude, he flipped it and said I was the rude one for not answering his questions - problem was, he didn’t actually ask any. Instead, he just rambled on about how I hadn’t made any claims and therefore could get a huge discount. I was already fed up, waiting for my fourth engineer to check an appliance in a short time, so having this cheeky bloke telling me I didn’t know what I was talking about or where my money was going just made me mad and stressed out. Proper nasty experience.

About 16 comments down from this one, there are some good tips on dealing with those calls. The scam call I got didn’t have any links at all, but I guess the police database might still be after that info. I’ll sort it out! Also thinking of raising this with my MP - these scams clearly aren’t coming from around here in the UK.

Definitely a dodgy sales call, total scam.

I keep getting calls from those domestic appliance insurance con artists nearly every day. I try to drag out the calls to waste their time as much as possible. After a while, they catch on and hang up, only to ring again the following day so I can do the same all over again. So annoying!

For around six years now, this Domestic Insurance firm has been calling me roughly twice a week trying to push an extended warranty. I’ve never agreed to these calls, and even when I’ve asked them to stop and revoked any supposed consent, they just hang up and ring back the very next day. Honestly, it feels like harassment. They should be taken to task legally, and anyone passing our info on to these people - or scammers like them - deserves to be shunned. Watch out for the number: 02921 390005 - it’s definitely a scam.

About six years back I bought a gadget, and since then, this Domestic Insurance firm has been ringing me up roughly twice a week trying to flog me an extended warranty. I never gave them the go-ahead to get in touch, and I've made it clear loads of times I want no more calls. Each time I ask them to stop, they just hang up and are back on the phone the next day. It's nothing but harassment, honestly. They couldna care less that I don’t even own the appliance anymore or that I’ve asked nicely for years to remove me from their dodgy list. They really should face some sort of action, and anyone passing on numbers to these lot or similar scammers ought to be shunned completely. Watch out for this number: 02921 390005 - Stay well away!

This number keeps calling me all the time, its really getting on my nerves! Feels like harrassment honestly. They say its about home insurance or something, but seriously, someone should do something about it.

Got a call earlier about some kind of domestic appliance insurance. I let them run on for like 10 mins before I told them I wasn’t daft and knew it was dodgy. They were trying to convince me there was a “discount” but needed me to set up a brand new direct debit, which sounded like them after my bank info instead of just changing an existing one. When I said maybe they should check their facts instead of shuffling me around to some “manager”, they didn’t have much to say. Honestly, I don’t even have that insurance!

About eight years back, I purchased a household gadget and ever since, for roughly six years now, this Domestic Insurance lot have been ringing me around twice a week trying to peddle some extended warranty. I never gave them the go-ahead to ring me, and I’ve made several attempts to tell them to stop assuming they have permission. When I tell them to quit calling, they just hang up, only to ring right back the very next day. It's pure harassment. They don’t seem to care that I no longer have the appliance or that I’ve politely asked for years to be removed from their dodgy contact list. These companies need to be taken to task, and anyone who passes on our info to these scammers should be seriously avoided.

Received a call from Mary on this number to my landline, but she couldn't even confirm if her company was UK Services Plan or Domestic Appliance Insurance. Either way, she insisted I needed to renew my policy. I told her it was nonsense since all our appliances are well past 15 years, and even made her listen to my 22-year-old Miele washing machine running perfectly. No company would cover us! She promised to remove us from their list, but this was already the 5th or 6th call, so I doubt it’ll happen. Who knows, maybe she’s still tuning into the sound of my washing machine…

They’ve been phoning me nonstop for over a year now, and it’s clearly some kind of phishing scam. I answered once right at the start, and they were trying to get me to renew some appliance cover. Thing is, I already have cover with a different company for years. Their name sounded similar, so I told them I’d check it out - but not with them. They said they’d ring me back, but I just let it go to voicemail now. Later I found out these calls come from a marketing firm, though I’m not convinced at all. So, I blocked the number altogether. Every time they called, it was just the same story. Seriously, who on earth are these people?

It’s always the same lady ringing me. I’ve tried blocking the number but then they just switch it up and call from somewhere else. This is like the third call I’ve had in about ten days, and it’s been happening for more than a year now.

Got a call again today from someone claiming I’ve got electrical appliance insurance with them. Honestly, I just want these annoying scammers to vanish completely. It’s nonstop with these scam calls every single day.

Left me 3 missed calls while I was out, cheers for the warning. Tomorrow’s pretty quiet for me, so I’m planning to mess about a bit and waste their time - hopefully stopping some poor person from getting scammed. Appreciate the info! Oh, and once I managed to keep a muppet on the line for 2 hours straight. It definitely kept me away from Corrie and Emmerdale, which my missus adores and I can’t stand. Guess I’m a bit of a sad case, but it’s oddly enjoyable! 🤪

Some idiot called claiming they were from a domestic appliances company and that we had to change our insurance with them... totally not happening! Told them to f*** off cos there’s no chance they’d ever get our sort code 😉 absolute scams, what a load of toss!

I got a call from an Asian woman claiming they had to update my info. She said it was about Domestic insurance. When I asked if it was Domestic and General insurance, she said yes. I was suspicious straight away since I only took out insurance in January at my new place, and she didn’t even have that address. Definitely felt like a scam.

She did leave a voicemail at least, but I've gone ahead and blocked the number now.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Domestic Appliance insurance. We definitely dont have any policy with them, but the woman kept going on as if we did. Our number is private and registered with TPS, yet these maddening calls keep coming through. Surely, if they're a real UK company, they should be checking this stuff before ringing, right?

What a muppet, he couldn’t even get his scam script right when reading out from his card. Proper rubbish.

Total rip-off. I played along by telling them they called at the perfect moment since everything in my house suddenly stopped working. I said they’d have to send new stuff right away because my insurance was nearly up, and I needed it sorted. They quickly lost enthusiasm but kept pushing to get me to renew. I kept them hanging for a good while before dropping some swear words. Absolute rubbish people, and not the brightest bunch either!

Got a call about insuring my house appliances. Weird thing is, the message said "Sorry missed you" while I was still talking! Then it promised to call back later. These calls happen to me a lot. Feels like some kind of auto-dialler software is behind it. Honestly, im fed up with these disturbing my personal time.

A crazy lady rang me about some domestic appliance insurance she claimed I had with them, which is a complete lie because I don’t have any cover at all. She tried to say, “Well, why did you call them then?” I told her I just answered her call! When you ring that number, it goes through a few rings then says it’s no longer in service. I’ve blocked the number now, but I’m sure they’ll just switch to a different one. Honestly, I wish they’d find better things to do and stop bothering people every day with their annoying calls!

This number keeps ringing me, claiming I have some kind of cover for household appliances with them. When I asked which ones, they mentioned stuff like the washing machine and the fridge freezer, but that’s totally not the case. Told them to take my info off their list. Guess we’ll find out if they actually bother!

Got a voicemail from a number I didn’t recognize. The message was super vague, something like "I'll try calling back tomorrow." Honestly, they can ring back all they want, but I’m not picking up. My answerphone says loud and clear that I won’t be returning calls from numbers I don’t know. If it was important, they’d have left a proper message with details.

So I got a call from a woman, maybe in her 40s or so, talking about some household gadgets. She said she’d ring me back the next day. Honestly, it’s a bit upsetting because she had such a pleasant voice and I can imagine she’d trick quite a few folks. Proper lowlife behaviour.

Loads of different phone numbers have been buzzing me, all with the same spiel about home appliances. Luckily, I’ve got caller ID, so I just let them go to voicemail. They always leave a message saying they’ll ring back the next day. The good thing is, I block each of these numbers, so they can’t bother me again from the same line. But they just keep switching numbers to try and get through. Such a pain!
