I've had calls from ### and ### on two separate occasions, definitely some dodgy scam going on.

I got a call from this number earlier today, and the person claimed to represent some kind of 'wellness' group. Honestly, she talked so fast I barely had a chance to take a breath as she rattled off all these supposed perks I'd get if I signed up. She mentioned they'd post me some info, which I agreed to, and then immediately jumped into promoting another deal they had. I wasn’t keen to stick around while she recited a whole list of benefits, so I told her I didn’t want to hear the full spiel and ended the call. I’m not sure how that went down with her. Maybe they’ll send me some freebies, but for now, I’d say this was just spam rather than an outright scam.

Turns out that number was a scam as well. Had a quick chat with the bloke and it was obvious he had no connection to Barclays at all.

Got a call from 02921###, saying I’d been picked for some grocery vouchers and loads of offers because I made an order with a well-known company. They said all I needed to do was sign up for their magazine and they’d take the payment from the card I use regularly for shopping. I’ve already contacted my bank and cancelled that card to be safe.

My landline rang today from this number, and the person on the other end claimed my domestic appliances warranty had expired. I told the lady I never had any warranty, but she insisted it started on 8th March ###. I told her I never signed up for anything like that, which led to a bit of a back-and-forth. Then she said she'd verify the info and call me back - honestly, I doubt she ever will.

Got an email that looked like it was from Amazon, saying thanks for buying a laptop that’s apparently on its way to some place in London. It had a phone number starting with 02921 to call if I wanted to cancel. When I dialled, it just played a message saying the person was busy on the phone. Then I thought I’d better double-check my Amazon account, and luckily, there wasn’t any sign of this fake purchase.

I keep getting calls on both my mobile and landline from someone claiming to be from the so-called reward club - which I've never joined and wouldn’t want anyway. The foreign-accented bloke kept ringing, but I've told him straight up it’s a scam and I’ll be reporting him to the police. Doesn’t seem to faze them one bit, they just keep on calling like they’re deaf or something. I’m only posting this here to warn others, seriously, don’t answer and block the number as soon as you can. And if the scammers happen to see this, well, let’s just say my thoughts on them are not exactly polite.

I got a call from a 02921 number where the caller immediately wanted to talk to my husband, no greeting or anything. They even used his first name, which made it feel a bit too personal. My husband wasn’t around so I asked for a number to call them back, but they gave me a fake one. When I checked the caller’s number, it was definitely from the 02921 area. I asked who was calling and they gave me a company name I’ve never heard of. Considering lots of us have their full number now, I don’t understand why the phone company hasn’t blocked this annoying number yet. If they ring me again, I’ll be blocking them straight away.

Somebody rang me regarding hearing aids, and I was a bit curious at first. But then they scheduled a visit to my home without properly checking if I was okay with that. I've received a letter confirming the appointment, but it doesn't have any contact details or address to get in touch and cancel. Does anyone know how I can stop them from showing up?
