so there’s this asian lady ringing up, saying her firm stops annoying calls. I get calls from several of these places around the same time, like 1.30-ish every day. I’ve started jotting down funny replies to keep myself entertained - chucking in some random french lines and even telling them this is a diplomatic number. Might as well have a laugh, right?

got a call from some asian call centre tellin me ive been gettin loads of sales calls. they said if i pay a one off charge for their priority service, all those calls will stop. sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from a woman named Lisa, who said she was with Optout UK, talking about nuisance calls. When I asked if her company was officially registered in the UK, she just cut me off straight away. Seems dodgy to me, if it was legit she would've answered. Watch out for this one! This is the second time in a few days I’ve had a call like this, the last one was almost the same!

I got a call from an Asian woman saying I was getting flooded with nuisance calls. She mentioned the company was Optout UK when I asked, claiming they could help me stop them. I never got to hear any details about costs or terms though. Sounds like a total scam to me. When I told her she was just making a nuisance call herself, she basically said it was my problem to fix and then ended the call with a ‘goodbye’. That was the last I heard from her.
