Claimed to be from Carphone Warehouse with a special offer. Since I’m registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I recognised it as a scam. Ended the call straight away.

Got called twice today. The second time, it wasn’t one of those silent calls. The person said they were with some kind of call blocking company and wanted to help block spam calls and update my blocking settings. Bit suspicious, if you ask me.

Don't pick up this one, it’s definitely a scam. Once you do, it signals to them that your number is live and being used. After that, brace yourself for getting even more calls from them.
