Like the other person mentioned, this guy told me the firm Online Support Ltd was closing and said I could get some money back for a payment I made ages ago, 2018, for some gadget insurance on my credit card. He asked for my card info again to sort it out. Seems dodgy to me - why would a company that's shutting up shop be bothering about refunds from five years back? Total scam if you ask me!

The chap on the other end had a foreign accent and claimed he was reaching out about an overbilling issue on my energy account. I decided to hang up.

Got a call from someone with a foreign accent talking about my electricity bill being too high. Pretty sure it’s just one of those scams.

I just got a call from some bloke named Max! He was trying to sell me a new phone plan for only £25 a month that supposedly came with the SIM included. When I told him I wasn’t keen, he just ended the call straight away.

I got a call from someone saying their business was closing and they were gonna put a payment over £300 into my account. They asked for my card info, but they already had my personal details, even an old credit card that’s been cancelled ages ago. To me, it sounded dodgy - companies about to shut usually don’t hand out money, they owe money themselves. What’s weird is they called my landline, which isn’t listed anywhere and I never share it, I usually only give out my mobile.
