Got a call from a bloke claiming to be with EE, saying I could get a discount for sticking with them - problem is, I’ve never had an EE contract in my life. Told him straight he was a con artist and asked if his mum would be proud of him trying to scam pensioners like that. Next thing, he started shouting horrible, filthy insults at me. I’ve blocked his number now, but I’ve had a few calls like that lately with different numbers doing the same scam.
