Got two of these calls just today. You should really complain to Ofcom about these silent calls - just Google "Ofcom" and fill in a complaint. Mark your feeling as "Distressed" since that seems to get their attention the most. If loads of us do it, Ofcom might finally realise how big this problem is and maybe take action. It’s a bit annoying but honestly takes just a few minutes once you’re used to it. WE NEED TO BAND TOGETHER TO STOP THIS ANNOYANCE. Think about the elderly folks who struggle to get to the phone and get these calls - do it for them. PLEASE.

I’m getting loads of calls every day, and even though I’m on one of those blocking websites, it only works for a couple of days before they start calling again. So annoying!

Got a call from a guy who sounded Indian, talking super fast and pressing for my info. I kept asking what for but he wouldn’t say anything and just hung up on me. Honestly, it left me feeling a bit uneasy, not sure what he wanted.

This morning, I received a call from 02856128512. Oddly enough, there was no one on the line-just silence. After about a minute, the call ended abruptly!

I got multiple calls where either no one said a word or they kept asking for someone else before just hanging up. One time, when I said yes I was the person they wanted, they stayed on the phone and started asking about my mobile network and stuff. I just made up some details that weren't right. They only had my actual number correct in their records. After that call, they seemed satisfied and I haven't heard from them again!

I've been getting calls from this number pretty much all day, like 10 calls daily. Half the time it's just dead silence, other times there's someone with an Asian accent speaking but it's impossible to make out what they're saying. They won't take our number off their list unless we finish some survey they insist on. They ring at all hours and it's honestly driving me mad.

They said their name was Future Trends. Kept asking for details about me, then I’d get bombarded by calls from other companies selling stuff. I’ve told them to stop and take me off their list at least 30 times, but they just keep calling.

Got calls from an Asian guy who kept asking for my details, like my name, address and phone number - stuff he already knew! Then he asked for my first name, and that’s when I just hung up. He’s called me about 6 times just today alone. A few times he’s been silent on the line too. It’s really starting to annoy me big time.

02856128512 I get loads of calls all day long, at all sorts of times. The caller ID just says 'External Call', which is annoying. If they can't leave their own number, I'm not picking up. I usually dial 1471 afterwards, just to check who it was. Yeah, it’s a bit of a pain having to always go and check the phone, but what else can you do? I’m with everyone else on this - there’s got to be a better way to stop these mystery calls. And those messages they leave, all glowing about something... really, how gullible do they think we are? It’s a proper faff.

Got a call from this number twice in a row, both times in the afternoon. The guy, sounded Asian, told me I could just drop the call after twenty seconds, but then kept on asking for my name, address and even the postcode before just hanging up. Really fed up with these calls, it’s driving me mad. I’ve been on the TPS list for ages now, so not sure why they keep bothering me like this. Wish there was a proper way to stop them once and for all.

On 22/07/15 at about 6.50pm, I got a call from a guy with an Asian accent. You could tell it was a call centre because there was loads of noise in the background. I usually get a bunch of cold calls, so I just said I wasn’t home to try and get him off the line.

In the past week alone, I've received an astonishing 22 calls. Most of them are from individuals of Asian descent, who strangely seem to know my name and even my address. I've tried to politely inform them that I'm not interested, only for them to promptly hang up. The next lot of calls come through with utter silence - it's all a bit baffling, quite honestly. It feels like I'm being plagued by some rather odd characters, whether they be male or female!

This number called me three times within a span of three hours, even though I clearly asked them to remove me from their calling list. Just about 10 minutes back, I told them to stop and mentioned that it was borderline harassment.

This number keeps ringing me multiple times every day for the past week or more. I’m on the ex-directory list, but that doesn’t seem to stop them at all. Whenever I pick up, it’s just dead silence. Trying to ring it back just gets me a message saying the number doesn’t exist. I spoke to Sky, my provider, but they weren’t much help. To block the number, they want me to pay a monthly charge, which is just ridiculous.
