This was definitely a scam call. They said there was some suspicious activity on my account and told me to log in and install some software. Turns out, it’s just a trick to get into your computer. Don’t fall for it and never install anything they say!

Got a call from an Asian lady claiming my Windows was sending alerts and needed fixing. I told her she’d reached a security hotline and that she should remain on the call and at her desk, letting security sort things out by coming round to check her place. Then I just ended the call. She might still be hanging about, who knows?

Yep, it’s the same guy from Asia callin me again. He’s phoned a couple of times but today I had a bit of time so I decided to humour him for a bit till I lost interest. Then he rang me back just after a few seconds. I thought, right, here we go again. I picked up and immediately said, “There’s blood all over, how can I hide the body?” So far, no reply. Haha!

Received a cheeky call from this number earlier today, purporting to be from BT. The chap on the line had a rather thick foreign accent and insisted that my internet had been compromised by some nefarious lot in Nigeria! I couldn't help but query why he was calling from an overseas number if he really worked for BT. He fumbled through some half-hearted excuse before promptly disconnecting the line, leaving me without the chance for further quips or to have a laugh at his expense! Clearly, just another dodgy little scammer with no guts. I've gone ahead and blocked the number. On a brighter note, I do enjoy the banter with the callers from Glasgow who ask about the age of my windows. When I inform them that I reside in a 15-storey highrise, they typically respond with a traditional Scots expletive and hang up in haste, much to my amusement!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent saying someone was using our Internet from another country. Came close to falling for it, but caught on just in time!

Received a call that seemed to be from India, claiming to be from BT. I wasn’t having any of it, so I politely told them to take a hike, but in my own cheeky manner.

I just received a rather suspicious phone call from a chap claiming to be Robin Watson, supposedly representing BT from 81 Newgate Street in London. He insisted that I should hop onto my computer. The problem is, I don’t have any service with BT at all! It’s glaringly obvious this bloke is up to no good-definitely a scam artist!

This morning I got a call from someone who said he was 'Alex Watson' from the BT tech team. He claimed there was some kind of virus on our broadband and told me the service would be suspended for two months. He also insisted I ring back only when I was near a computer. Seemed very fishy to me.

Had a call from a bloke who sounded very Asian, but his name was totally Caribbean. He was talking about some issue with my BT internet. I just told him to piss off.

Got another one of those dodgy calls from overseas. This time I wasn't having it and told him off properly! Three calls in a single day coming from different numbers - I'm well over it. Why isn’t anyone doing anything to block these?

Got a call from some bloke who just went straight to saying "Hello?" without telling me who he was or why he was calling. I didn’t say anything back and after a few "Hello"s from him, he hung up. Could hear loads of noise and busy sounds in the background as well.

Got a call from someone sounding Indian saying they were from BT and there was an issue with my internet. Then they asked, “Do you even have internet?” which gave it away as a total scam. They were pretty rubbish at it though, so was easy to tell it was fake.

I’ve received a few calls from this number recently. According to various online discussions, it seems to be linked to a so-called BT customer support centre. I bluntly told the chap on the line to 'find something better to do' and mentioned that I'm not even a BT customer. Nevertheless, I doubt it’ll make much difference, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they try their luck again.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from BT, asking about my internet connection. I straight up told her she was trying to scam me, and she just cut the call right away. These calls really get on my nerves.

Got a call at my place in Wales around 3:25pm on Wednesday 12th April from some bloke with an Indian accent claiming to be from Microsoft support. I fired back, said HIS computer’s got a virus! He cut me off straight away. Seriously, the UK government needs to put an end to these annoying and scary nuisance calls. I’ve blocked the number 002856239244 so they won’t bother me anymore.

Somebody rang claiming to be BT saying I had to get on my computer or they’d cut the line. I just told them to do their worst and they ended up ending the call. Then they rang back and spoke to my husband, warning about disconnection, but he said it’s impossible since we’re with cable. I’m certain these aren’t genuine BT people, just some kind of scam!

He started off really hostile, telling us to basically get lost using some rude language. Then he went on to say he’d ring back later in the evening.
