Just a heads up, calls going out from this number seem like scam attempts to get your personal info and likely lead to further fraud. Really risky stuff. Looks like it's connected to 02837 845006 somehow.

This number actually rings for a bit then you get connected before any message starts, unlike a proper BT message for non-responding numbers which kicks in straight away with no ringing beforehand. I reckon it's some sort of automated setup playing the message to check if the number answering is actually active, maybe so they can hit you up again later on.

1 of 3: I think it’s one of those automated mass dialling systems. If loads of people pick up, it just drops the call right away. When I rang back, after a couple of rings, a fake American voice came on saying something like ‘the number you have dialled is out of service, please double-check and try again’ then there were two quick beeps. It’s defo not the usual BT message which normally says ‘the number you have called has not been recognised, please check and try again’ with three rising tones before it.

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent who said he was from something like "metplus" or whatever. I just hung up straight away, didn't even bother replying. These calls are seriously driving me mad. Proper annoying! cocooo0

I got a call from 02837837006 but as soon as I picked up, they just hung up. Tried calling back but the line said the number isn’t in service. Weird voicemail message too when I tried!

They were trying to get me to give out personal information, which I’m sure would’ve been used in some other scam. Really risky stuff.
