On May 4th, 2021, my phone rang from this number but I chose not to pick up. Later, I looked it up here and realised it's best everyone knows about these sorts of scam calls trying to deceive people.

Got a call from a guy calling himself Jake, claimed he was from O2. When I told him I was happy with my current phone provider, he got pretty frustrated. He’s rung me 4 different times already but hasn’t left a single voicemail. I’ve ended up blocking the number now. These scam callers are such a pain, and honestly, the police should be cracking down on them more.

I got a call from this number about life insurance. I told the guy I wasn’t interested and asked him to take my number off their list. Instead of being polite, he snapped back saying how can I say I’m not interested when he hasn’t even explained what it’s about. Proper rude behaviour.

I got a call from a woman who insisted she knew my life insurance needed checking. She didn’t say which company it was with, nor did she explain why or when it needed to be renewed. When I told her I don’t even have life insurance, she suddenly got rude and sarcastic before abruptly cutting me off.

I got a call saying my Life Insurance was nearly up and that there were new rules I needed to be aware of. I couldn’t help but laugh out loud and told him my policy wasn’t up for another couple of years. He hung up on me immediately. These callers clearly don’t know anything about you and just make stuff up.

Seems like this is one of those dodgy calls pretending to be from o2. I won’t go into detail about why I reckon it’s a scam coz whoever’s behind it might read this and tweak their pitch. I’m actually involved with an anti-scam group and we mess with them by calling up about 50 times a day. If you fancy it, try calling them with your number hidden - sometimes they threaten to call the cops, but honestly, they never do. They’ve said that to me tons of times and nothing ever happens.

This person from ballemeno keeps ringing me up over and over again, its proper annoying now. I’m thinking of telling the cops because it’s getting like harrassment. Anyone who knows the rules knows if they call or text more than twice, you can report it. Just contact your phone company and they’ll sort you out with the right way to report the number.

No matter how many times I block their number, these folks keep ringing me daily. They say they're from O2 and try to push a new SIM deal. I told them it’s none of their business if I’m on PAYG or contract with O2 and just ended the call. I’ll just keep blocking them as it goes on.

Today I got four calls, and twice it was a woman who sounded like she was from South East Asia or somewhere similar. She was trying to fish out info about my phone company and some personal stuff. I just ended the call each time without saying anything.

I asked to be put through to their legal team, but he said that wasn’t doable. Then I wanted to talk to his manager, but all I got was being put on hold before the call just dropped. He kept trying to get my personal info like my email and payment method for my phone. Felt really dodgy to me.

Got a call from someone saying they're from o2, but they mentioned my name and number like they already knew. They told me I'd supposedly ordered a sim card, which I'd never done. Think it might be some dodgy online survey trick. I told them if a sim was ordered, it wasn’t me, it must be fraud, and then just ended the call. Seems like a scam is going around for sure.
