On 10th June 2021 at around 11 o’clock in the morning, I got a call on my mobile from someone with a thick accent. They never said who they were or which company they were calling from and just dived straight into their sales pitch. When I asked what company they were with, they said O2. I told them I prefer sorting out my account directly at the local O2 store and tried to end the call nicely. But instead of backing off, they started pushing hard, interrupting me, and got quite rude and aggressive. Definitely a scam, don’t pick up if you get a call like this.

somewhere someone told me I had won free lotto tickets and they wanted me to sign up for a direct debit to get more every month. I told her I dont have a bank account so theres no way I could do that. she was quite polite but kept pushing, said id still get the free ones anyway. if I wasnt careful that couldve ended up costing me a fortune.
