I got a call from an Asian guy who knew quite a bit about me, like my name and where I live. He claimed it wasn’t about selling anything, but as soon as I asked how he got hold of my home number, he just cut the call straight away.

The caller was quite persistent in probing for answers, but I found their speech rather difficult to follow. I informed them that I wasn't feeling well and suggested they ring back at a later date. However, they didn't seem to take my hints and kept pushing for information, which eventually led me to hang up.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent who somehow already knew my address, postcode and that I’m retired. Said they'd ask me some questions but refused to explain what for. Then the call just got cut off. Very strange!
