Stay away from Shaw Academy. Got a second call less than 5 minutes after the first, asking why I hadn’t finished my application or given payment info. They advertise a free trial course on Facebook, but then want your card details. I refused to put mine in since I’d read online that they often charge people even if you cancel before the trial ends, plus lots of fake reviews floating around. Got a call from a lady with an Asian accent, working from some call centre in Northern Ireland, pushing hard for my card info even after I said I wasn’t interested. Definitely a dodgy operation!

I got three calls yesterday from the same company, I think it was Shaw Academy. I didn’t pick up any of them. I saw their ad on Instagram offering a free Audio Engineering course, but when I tried to sign up, they wanted my bank details, so I decided not to go ahead.
