7 yearsWho exactly are these people? They rang us up purporting to be from BT, stating there’s a problem with our broadband and phone line-which, coincidentally, we do have! However, they insisted we need to connect our laptop or computer to the router so they can ‘demonstrate’ the issue. It all seemed rather dubious to me. I’ve spoken to genuine BT representatives before and they’ve never suggested anything like that! When I told the woman I couldn’t do it right now and could manage it later, she responded with, “But I won’t be available then!” Quite odd, isn’t it? BT wouldn’t say such a thing!
