just looked this number up for an elderly woman i know because she’s been getting constant calls from it. they keep saying they’re from the government and that she can get some kind of payment, trying to get her personal info. she usually just tells them she’s not interested and hangs up. sometimes it’s a bloke on the phone, other times it’s a lady.

On the 15th of January 2018, I got a call from a guy with a South Asian accent who said he was from BT's security team. He claimed there was some illegal hacking going on with my computer. I was suspicious straight away since I’d just been in contact with BT for an unrelated matter, so I told him I wasn’t falling for it and to stop wasting my time before hanging up. Really annoying how they try to scam like that.

Got a call from what sounded like someone with a subcontinental accent claiming to be Shaun. They had my name and said they were from "BT's internet security team." When I asked for their address, they just hung up. I don’t even have a BT account, so seemed like a total scam.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from BT's internet security, but I'm certain it was a scam. Didn't trust a word they said, seemed dodgy from the start.

I got a call from some woman named Jessica, sounded like she wasn’t from around here, claiming to be from BT’s internet security team, talking about problems with my internet. When I said I don’t even have internet, she just ended the call right away.
