I didn’t even bother talking to them, just hit the answer key and shoved the phone right next to my MP3 blasting my favourite rock record. I let it play loud for a good 15 minutes and when I checked, they were still hanging on the line. It’s a joke. Typical though, governments - past and present - would rather coddle the crybabies of this messed-up nation than crack down on these wankers who hide behind fake numbers to scam people. Can't understand why these lot keep ringing and then just dropping the call. Had a glance at other comments and most say the same - sudden hang ups. Proper waste of time for everyone involved. Got a call from someone saying they were with "Switch and Save" and offered to cut my line rental to £14 a month. Oddly, they knew my name but had no clue who my phone provider was. When I asked where they were ringing from, they said Coventry, so I told them I’m on the TPS list and they shouldn’t be contacting me. That seemed to do the trick - the lady, who had an Indian accent, hung up pretty sharpish. I think by then she realised I was just messing about with her.

this bloke rang me, knew me name and reckoned i’d paid my bt bill, said next months would only be £14. i said hang on, who are you? he (some foreign dude) got all confused asking if i wanted it or not. i shouted back asking who he was, then he just hung up. blocked the number 02476682994. honestly, with brexit going on, i say let foreigners stay in their own places and keep away from mine.
