Got a call from 02476346809 and after a weird pause, some bloke with an Asian accent asked if I wanted to “suck his d###.” Honestly, sounded like a right nutter with some serious issues! Proper rude and narrow minded guy, definitely best to block him. They’re using IP phone stuff, so could be calling from absolutely anywhere.

I got a call from someone who sounded like they were from an Asian background. They kept asking all sorts about my home phone and broadband, then wanted to know if I’d paid the bill. I said no, my hubby sorts that out. Right after that, they just ended the call. This has been happening a couple of times daily for about two weeks now. Usually, they just drop the line straight away, but today I picked up. I could tell it was dodgy, so I pretended to go along with it, but then they just cut me off quite sharpish.

They called me three times on Saturday morning, and now they're at it again? Offering something like £700 a month? Seriously, I think they'd be better off finding a different job.

As soon as my voicemail kicked in, the person on the other end just cut off. I looked up the number here and saw it was some classic scam attempt. Honestly, having an answer phone has been such a good move for me. I just don’t pick up if I don’t know the number - if it’s important, they’ll drop a message. It really stops me from getting tangled up with rubbish calls from con artists. Though I do feel a bit cheeky for not wasting their time back by pretending to fall for their nonsense!

Talk about scammers! The person on the phone had awful English and just kept hesitating whenever I tried to ask something. Honestly, they must be joking if they think anyone is gonna buy their rubbish story. Total muppets!

WATCH OUT FOR FRAUDS! I got a ring on my home phone from 02476681349. The caller claimed to be from my telecom provider and said my bill was going to be lowered soon. Then they asked whether I or my partner handles the payments. I told them if they really worked for my phone company, they'd already know who pays. They just ended the call after that.

This Asian lady called me a few times saying she was from Uswitch, trying to get me to switch my mobile line to a cheaper deal. Every time I asked for proof or who she really was, she just ended the call straight away. Definitely felt like a scam, very dodgy.

Got a call from some Jason at V4 Telecom trying to chat to my mum about cheaper line rental options compared to Talk Talk. I’m a bloke, but I decided to play along and acted like I was my mum. After a bit, I told him my son usually sorts all this stuff out. Then he said he’d get in touch with my son and ended the call before I could even pass on a number.

I've received numerous calls from this number, mostly when I'm not home. They never leave a message. I've also had a handful of silent calls, but today was different; a lady claiming to be from BT rang me up, insisting there was an issue with my internet connection being cut off-an absolute lie, I assure you. I called it out as a potential scam, to which she promptly hung up. There's been at least one more of those quiet calls from that same number, too. Quite dodgy, if you ask me!

Like others have said, I got a call from someone asking for a Mr Rogers. When I asked who was on the line, the guy said he was with a firm named ‘Switch & Safe’. I told him I’m on the TPS list and that I’d be reporting them for breaking the rules. He said he’d remove my number if I waited a moment, but that’s when I just ended the call!

There was this awkward silence before a man with an Asian accent came on telling me he could cut my landline bill by 40% since I wasn’t using the service enough to justify the current charges. He never gave his name or mentioned which company he was with. That long pause at the start made me think I was being passed onto a sales team, so I decided to mess about a bit, giving him false details for a while. After getting fed up, I just told him he’d got the wrong number and hung up.
