I’ve been bombarded with a torrent of calls claiming that "Your internet will be terminated due to the presence of an unauthorised party on your line" along with other nonsensical drivel. Surprisingly, they chose me as their lucky contestant, so I indulge them. When that robotic voice prompts me to press 3 and then get through to a live operator, once I’m connected, I unleash a verbal tirade that echoes all the way to the moon and back, threatening to report them to the authorities. Absolute numpties! I'm absolutely cackling whilst penning this, and I thought I’d share a few other numbers that have been just as dodgy: this morning’s caller (06189) 191-528, (02476) 681-314, Coventry ((02767) 997-333), (012177) 34343 from Birmingham, and even one from Germany, (06127) 691-334. You can look these numbers up, which is how I’ve discerned that they’re all just a bunch of scammers!
