Today I got a call from this number, and the guy said he just needed a few minutes of my time. Felt a bit dodgy, so I just left the phone on the table and went off for a bit. When I came back after a couple of minutes, the line was dead - he’d hung up. Honestly, I reckon he was legit, though it’s as likely as me believing in Father Christmas!

He called me, knew my name straight away and told me not to hang up or that he wasn’t selling anything. Sounded like a really busy Asian guy from a call centre. Then he asked for my postcode, but when I said it was wrong, the call just ended.
