I received a rather dodgy automated call from someone pretending to be from HMRC, claiming there was a tax fraud case linked to me. The chap instructed me to hit 1 to connect with my so-called case officer and issued a rather alarming threat of legal repercussions if I failed to comply. I can assure you, this is nothing but a scam!
