So strange... This landline is listed as being from Portsmouth, BT UK, and they rang my home phone a couple days back. When I called them back, someone in the Philippines answered and said they were from a firm called 'Insulate your home'. Makes you wonder - if this is a proper BT number, why hasn’t it been blacklisted yet? This morning at precisely 8:07, a gentleman with a rather thick foreign accent rang my 88-year-old mother. He posed a number of questions which raised my eyebrows, including one about whether she ever ventures out. To my dismay, he mentioned he’d be giving her a ring again tomorrow. I’ve taken the precaution of blocking the number now.
