Got a call from a lovely lady who told me there was some unpaid tax I didn’t know about. She was super friendly and said she could sort it out for me if I just gave a little info like my bank details, where I live and my mum’s maiden name. Funny thing is, her mum’s maiden name was the same as mine! We had a good chuckle about that. Honestly, I’m really thankful she rang me, such a kind soul.

This number 02392162053 has been ringing me a few times this week, about three I think. Every time I pick up, they just hang up immediately. I missed one call, but they didn’t bother to leave any voicemail or message. Bit odd if you ask me.

I own my place, and since my landlords never fixed anything, I started offering to do house repairs. When I called him out and said he was trying to scam me, he got really rude.

Got a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent who said it was about some government rules and they were offering free home repairs. The phone line was terrible. I mentioned I don’t live in a council or housing association place, but she kept telling me, "No worries, we'll sort everything for free." It all seemed like a load of rubbish to me, so I never shared any personal info. When I asked if she could just send details by email, she said she needed my address first. At that point, I just ended the call.

I got a call from someone claiming to be from a Housing Association in London, but I don't even live there. They kept prying for info about defects in the property, but when I asked for their details, they couldn’t even tell me my own address. Felt really fishy, like a scam to me.

Got a call from 02092162053 claiming they were from the council's housing department. They wanted my address, saying it was about some damp and mould issue that had been reported. I told them I’m not a council tenant and own my own place, plus I don’t have any damp problem! Total scam, watch out!

Received a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming to be from a housing association. Asked if I was having issues with damp, leaks or any repairs needed. Totally a con. They called saying they were from some repairs firm linked to housing, wanting to fix my place and get money off the landlord. When I told them to stop calling, the bloke reckoned that was impossible because the 'government' passed them my details. I don’t even rent, I own my flat and have never been on any housing list!

I let 02392162053 ring out since I usually don't pick up calls from numbers I don't know. When I tried returning the call, it said the number wasn't valid, so I've just gone ahead and blocked it now.

Got a call out of the blue saying they were following up on a complaint I supposedly made about my landlord and damp issues a few weeks back. I played along just to see what they knew, and shockingly, they had my old address, phone number and name all lined up (and I didn't give them any of that info myself). Kinda creeped me out, but I think they were probably just fishing around for info.

The call quality was shocking, as if they were out in the middle of rough seas on an oil rig. There was this weird pause before they spoke up, then some robotic 'how are you today sir' - total spam vibes, so I just ended the call straight away.

It took ages for someone to pick up the line; I suspect it was an auto-dialler at play. When they finally did speak, I could barely grasp what they were saying due to their thick Asian accent. All I managed to catch were phrases like "Global Heating," "Electricity," "Contract," and "End," which left me certain this was a dodgy call. I kindly asked them to stop the nonsense, only to be met with a barrage of personal insults in return. I hung up and blocked the number-though I doubt it will make much difference, as it seems they have a multitude of numbers in their arsenal.

Some woman with an Asian accent phoned askin' for whoever handles our energy deals. I told her we run a serviced office, but she just wouldn't get it, kept going over the same lines. Eventually, I had to raise my voice and make it clear again that we’re a serviced office, then she just dropped the call. Pretty sure it was a scam.
