+44 23 8154 2356 Southampton - really freaked me out! Someone rang saying they were from the tax office, accusing me of not paying taxes for three years. They threatened legal action if I didn’t pay £1900 straight away, and even said a fraud officer was on their way to arrest me. They claimed my bank accounts and everything else was already frozen. I actually gave them some personal info before realising it was a scam. Reported it to the police now but I’m gutted I fell for it - the woman sounded so genuine.

I think its a scam call. They wanted info from me but as soon as I refused to share anything, they just ended the call abruptly. Very dodgy behaviour.

I got a missed call on my phone but didn't pick up. Later, I saw there was a voicemail with some robotic voice mumbling numbers or something. Looks dodgy, so I wouldn't bother with it - probably one of those scam calls.

They was pretending to be from HMRC and wanted all my personal details. I didn’t give them a thing, so they just ended the call. Later, I rang them back and gave them a name from that Die Hard film, but they kept pushing for more info. When I finally said no, I ended the call. Then they rang me again, probably ’cause I only gave half the info. I told them straight up they're scammers, and that bloke got really nasty with me. Proper dodgy lot.

I tried calling this mobile number but no luck, it didn't pick up. When I answered later, there was a recorded message saying the number and something about it being urgent, but then it just stopped suddenly.

Called me saying they were from HMRC. When I tried ringing them back, they asked for my details since apparently, I didn’t have a ‘reference number’. That’s when I ended the call and looked it up myself.

I’m not sure what it was about, but I caught the last part of a voicemail that said something like “do not ignore.” Most likely some kind of spam call. The number was 02381 542356.
