Got a call from a woman asking to come round and have a look at our loft insulation because apparently, we were due for an inspection. Thing is, we don’t even have a loft! She was trying to set up a 30-minute appointment to do this inspection. So strange.

I was waiting on a call from the hospital and rushed to answer my phone, nearly knocking myself over. Just as I reached it, the call cut off. After reading this, I’m convinced it’s a scam. It’s so creepy how much info they seem to have about you. I got another one earlier about loft insulation and honestly told the woman I’d report her if she kept calling - and each time it’s from a new number! Someone needs to make these calls illegal and slap fines on them till they quit.

Made me wonder why they didn’t just contact the landlord from the start. They even got my name wrong and didn’t seem to notice I wasn’t the homeowner. They came out, had a proper look at the loft, pointed out some damp problems, and suggested a new type of insulation that might help.
