Got a call from someone claiming to be a trader saying my loft insulation might be "out of line" with recent Government rules. He wanted to come round and inspect my loft for damp or moisture. The weird thing was, he rang me on my mobile but already had my full name and address, and talked like he knew about my insulation situation. Turns out it's a known scam going around. Best to ignore this sort of call or let Trading Standards know about it.

Had a call from a very courteous bloke about fibreglass work. At first, it seemed genuine but then I figured it was one of those dodgy cold calls. Could probs worry someone older though, especially since it’s all about home security stuff.

I've had this lot ringing me over and over, always after someone who doesn't live here. Every time I've told them there's no such person at this number.
