I got a call from a very courteous guy who knew my name and said he was calling from the Windows Tech support. Just as he was talking, I heard someone chatting to him in his own language and then he ended the call - maybe he was about to have his lunch or something?

I didn’t catch his name, but straight away I called him out, telling him he was trying to scam me. He claimed that my computer had been hacked, but I told him there was no way that had happened. He got really angry and threatened to block my computer or something like that. Before I ended the call, I told him I hoped his parents wouldn’t be proud of him for trying to con people and that he should find a real job. He said a few more things, but I just hung up.

Some lady named Jennifer rang me, bit snappy when I said I didn’t catch her name properly. She claimed she was from Microsoft Windows, saying my computer had some kind of problem. Thing is, I don’t even own a laptop or computer! Still, she kept pushing that I was a customer. Looks like these scammers are stepping things up big time.
