Somebody pretending to be from Visa and Mastercard's "security team" gave me a call. You can tell they have no clue about how credit cards actually operate! Total scam.

I received a call from an Asian gentleman claiming to represent Openreach, insisting that my account had been compromised. Right from the outset, I found his spiel rather dubious. I decided to play along for a bit, leading him in circles, and eventually, he just hung up on me. Quite the dodgy encounter, if you ask me!

Had another annoying call today, definitely one of those scams messing about again.

I received a rather dubious call supposedly from Virgin Media, stating there was an issue with my system and wanting to schedule an engineer to come round. However, Virgin themselves have clarified that they don't normally reach out like this, and if there were genuinely any problems, they tend to hold off until customers notify them. Quite the dodgy tactic, if you ask me!
