got a bunch of calls from this number, all seemed sketchy. looks like a scam so best to just ignore it!

Likewise, there was nothing but silence-no voicemail or anything to indicate who it might be.

After a pause of about ten seconds, a woman with a foreign accent finally spoke, saying I’d been involved in an accident. I told her I was on the TPS list and didn’t want random calls like that. She got rude and started being abusive, so I just hung up.

Honestly, these sorts of calls are utterly pointless and should really be prohibited altogether. It's about time we put a stop to them!

I picked up but there was total silence, no one said a thing on the line. It was pretty weird, like the caller was just sitting there quiet.

Got a call from some bloke claiming to be with traffic management, probably some dodgy foreigner. Before I could mess about with him, he just cut me off. Typical.

They rang me but when I answered and said hello a couple of times, no one said anything back. So, I just ended the call.

I got a call on my home phone, which hardly ever rings and is listed on the TPS. The bloke sounded like he might be Chinese or Japanese and called himself John - bit uncanny as that's my partner's name. He claimed to be from some accident investigation department and said there’d been an accident in the past couple of years. When I tried to ask for more details, like the company he was with, he suddenly seemed nervous and just ended the call!

This number rang our landline, which we hardly ever use. The caller was an Asian lady claiming someone in our house had been in an accident. My partner told her no one here had any accident, but she insisted he was wrong. Even after he said goodbye, she kept nagging and got quite persistent. Eventually, he just hung up. Not sure how they got hold of our number since we’re ex-directory and always block scam calls. We never share our landline with anyone.

I picked up the call, but all I could hear was silence. After a rather odd pause of approximately twenty seconds, an automated voice chimed in to bid me farewell. Curious, I decided to ring the number again, only to be greeted by the familiar automated response stating that the number isn’t valid. Quite baffling, really!

On the evening of 23rd August 2016, at precisely 11 o'clock, I received a rather peculiar phone call from this number. Much like others who have commented here, there was utter silence on the other end. I attempted to engage by saying "hello" several times, but after receiving no response, I decided to hang up. Out of curiosity, I looked up the number to find it corresponds with what I had just experienced. It's quite unsettling, really-one can't help but ponder whether this is some sort of ploy to get you to return the call and incur exorbitant fees.

I've had multiple calls from this number on my home phone, but they never bother to leave a message. How strange!

A bloke called Kelvin Kleen, who sounded like he might be from Asia, rang me up about a supposed accident involving someone at my address. He mentioned it happened at traffic lights in Dundee within the last year and also said the other party was in a Vauxhall Corsa and wearing a seatbelt. Then, oddly, he claimed the person at my place drove that Corsa. I told him straight away no one here owns one, but he insisted I double-check. He wasn’t asking anything useful, just babbling on. I ended up telling him politely that he was just wasting my time.

I've received about a dozen calls from this number over the past three months. Whenever I pick up, there's an eerie silence on the other end. If I try to engage with a "hello" or similar greeting, they just linger on the line, but as soon as I fall silent, they seem to give up and hang up. Quite peculiar, really.
