Watch out, it’s definitely a scam!

I received a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk, asserting that there was an issue with my account. I let them prattle on for a bit, providing them with plenty of banter in response. Just as they were about to wrap up the call, I informed them they’d made a mistake-I've actually not been a TalkTalk customer since the previous year!

I got a call at work from this number and picked up. They started asking which company provides my broadband, then gave me six numbers they said were for the UK lottery. After that, they told me to ring another number, 8081891033, to verify the results. Felt really dodgy to me, probably a scam!

I just had a rather disturbing phone call from this number. There was a bit of a lag before I picked up, and then the caller ominously stated that I would be meeting my end soon. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

I noticed that this number appeared to originate from Nigeria. I had my landline forwarded to my mobile, but they seemed to hang up in a jiffy without saying a word. Quite odd, isn’t it?

I’m pretty sure this is some kind of scam. The moment you pick up, there’s a brief pause, then a recorded voice just says “goodbye.” I’ve been getting this call every couple of days for weeks now. It’s really tempting to ring the number back, but don’t! It’s from abroad and will cost you a small fortune. Actually, a mate of mine once got charged over £300 just from calling back once! Seriously, be careful with this one.

Utterly deceitful! Upon picking up the call, all you get is a pre-recorded message bidding you farewell. It's easy to feel inclined to return the call, but resist the urge! Calling back could cost you a small fortune. Stay wise and steer clear!

It appears that this is associated with a number from Brazil Telecom and is likely just another nuisance call. It’s my suspicion that they ring multiple lines simultaneously, preying on the first person who picks up, which boosts their chances of either pitching their dodgy service or setting up some sort of con. On those rare occasions when I actually get through to someone yammering on about 'repairing my computer,' I simply place the phone down on the table and walk away, allowing them to foot the bill for their persistence. I return to the call once it’s evident they’ve thrown in the towel. Cheers, Nick

I've received numerous calls from this number. Most recently, I picked up, and all they said was a quick "farewell" before hanging up. Quite peculiar!

I received a call inquiring about whether I was a renter or a homeowner. When I mentioned that I wasn’t in either situation but rather a business owner, the caller accused me of being deceitful and told me to get lost in some rather colourful language. Unbelievable!

This number has attempted to contact us multiple times. Every time we respond, a ridiculous automated voice simply says "Goodbye" and then promptly disconnects the call. It’s utterly perplexing and rather annoying!
