I received a recorded call claiming there are security problems with my BT line. It's clearly just a scammer trying their luck.

They won’t stop ringing me. Last time, I decided to humour them and said I was by my PC. Some woman, sounded like she was from India, told me to hit "Windows + R" keys (honestly, avoid that at all costs) and then wanted to know what popped up on my screen... I said, “Go away you scammer!” and she just cut the call. Now I kinda miss the madness! I’ve blocked the number, but I’m sure they’ll call back from somewhere else. Stay sharp everyone! X

Got a call from some sort of Indian call centre scam. Didnt sound legit at all. Just a heads up for anyone else gettin calls like that.

Got a call from a bloke with an accent saying there was an issue with my BT internet. When I asked which provider he was from, he couldn’t answer. I questioned why they were bothering people with these scams, but all he kept repeating was that I had internet problems. I called him out for talking nonsense and then he just ended the call.

This number has rung me a few times in the past couple of days, claiming to be from BT about some internet issues. When I asked who they were trying to reach (myself!) and for their manager’s name, they just ended the call straight away!

I got a call from some woman with an Indian accent who said she was from the BT tech support. She just said hello, then started laughing, and you could hear others giggling in the background before she hung up. Really strange and suspicious call.

Got loads of calls today, all from this number. Each time it’s some dude with an Indian accent talking about BT broadband. I asked him to take my number off his list, but then not long after, he calls again. When I picked up, they just said “sorry, wrong number” and then hung up. Weird!

Got a call and in the background someone kept saying "you're late, you're late" before the line went dead. The number had a Portsmouth area code, which is the same as my sister's from Gosport. These calls are really annoying since they come from all over. Just recently, I was getting loads from a Newcastle code 0191.

Got a call from an Asian bloke claiming to be with BT, but the moment I asked a question, he just hung up. Total rubbish and a right dodgy move.

Last week, I got a couple of calls from a number claiming to be BT about my internet. I told them straight away I was going to hang up since it seemed dodgy. Then today, they called again while I wasn’t home, but I noticed a missed call from 02341779472. Honestly, what’s the deal with these calls? Does anyone know how to block this number for good?
