Just like the other comments, I got a call from 02341779421 back on 6/7/17. The person on the line sounded no English and was reading some script, claiming to be from BT about my router being hacked or something. Then today, another call but from 2031775643, pretty much the same story. Told them both to do one.

Got a call this morning at about 11.30 from an Asian guy claiming he was from BT, telling my elderly mum there was something wrong with her internet. He was trying to get her on her computer, but I jumped in and told him the call was on record. After that, he just started shouting loads of swear words - funny how he struggled with English but swore so clearly! Totally a scam, so please keep an eye out and warn older folks or anyone easily tricked!

Got a ring from some Indian call centre claiming to be from BT about my broadband. The guy quickly hung up once I said I wasn’t letting him anywhere near my PC. I phoned BT myself to check, and they said it definitely wasn’t them. They also suggested I use their Call Protect feature to stop getting calls from that number again.

Got a call from 02341779421, sounded like some Indian call centre pretending to be BT's tech support. They were asking if there were any issues with my phone line. Could barely understand what they were saying, but it definitely felt dodgy and like a scam.

Got a call from this number and instantly suspected it was a scam. Decided to humour them just to see what would go down. This was actually their eleventh attempt in a couple of days! When the person on the line twigged I wasn’t taking it seriously, she put me through to her “manager”, who then started hurling insults at me non-stop before hanging up. Honestly, that kind of behaviour is really unacceptable, especially for anyone who might be more delicate or easily upset. Seriously, BT, you need to take action on this!

I answered but there was nobody there, then a robotic female voice said ‘goodbye’ and hung up.

Got a call from some dodgy call centre in India claiming they were from BT. Definitely felt a bit off and not to be trusted.
