Got a call from someone claiming to be BT about my internet having issues. They were obviously a scam, sounded like they were from India. When I asked for my account number, they just gave me my phone number instead. If you're with BT and get a call like this, ask them for your actual account number - they won't be able to provide it if they're faking it.

I picked up and there was complete silence, then suddenly they hung up on me ??

Had a rather peculiar phone call at 12:15 this afternoon on the 30th of October, 2017. There was complete silence on the other end, so I prompted them to say something or I'd hang up after counting to five. Just as I reached four, they cut the line. So, at least they were paying attention, I suppose!

On 30/10/17 I picked up 02307865647 and no one said a thing. I told whoever was there to start talking or I’d hang up after 5 seconds. Just as I hit 4 seconds, the call got ended. Honestly, I found it quite amusing.

She didn’t even start with a proper hello, just said she was calling about some issues with my internet. I told her my internet was fine and asked her not to call me again. Anyone knows how to put a stop to these annoying calls?
