Got a call from a guy with a thick accent, said he was from BT's tech team. His English was a bit shabby and he was trying to tell me my router was sending out warnings. Said he could fix it for me! Yeah, right.

Got a call from some guy with an Asian accent saying he was from BT’s tech support. He kept going on about hackers messing with my router. I played along for a bit till he got annoyed, then he asked if I was messing about and said he had other folks to call if I wasn’t keen. I kept asking if he was really with BT, then told him straight up he was a lying scumbag just trying to pull a scam, and he just hung up on me.

Had a rather dodgy call from an Asian gentleman claiming to be from BT. He appeared to know my name and insisted that I was facing issues with my internet. He wanted me to hop on my computer so he could sort it out for me. I flat-out refused and hung up. I've since blocked the number and I'm keeping my eyes peeled for whatever number he decides to ring from next.

Got a call from some guy claiming he was from BT, said there was a problem with our internet and he could fix it. I haven’t had any issues at all though. I told him to just send an email instead, then I blocked his number by calling 1572 and going through the steps. Pretty much the same story as all these other scams!

Got a call today at about 11 in the morning from a guy with an Asian accent claiming his name was Oliver (yeah, right!). Said my router was apparently blasting spam all over the place using my IP. I told him to just send me an email with the details if he was so certain, and then he hung up on me. Pretty dodgy if you ask me.

This number just rang me. The bloke said his name was David Parker, working in tech support at BT's main office. He warned that our internet would be cut off as apparently our router was giving alerts about strangers trying to access it. He said he was some kind of technician and wanted to show me a device. I told him to find a real job instead of scamming folks and spreading malware, then I ended the call.

The woman had awful english, I couldnt make out wot she was saying. Somethin about a technician was mentioned then she just cut off, I wasn’t buying any of it.

The woman was really struggling with her English - I could hardly make out what she was saying. She mentioned a technician or something along those lines. As soon as I sensed something dodgy, I just cut the call off.

Got a call from the same number earlier and told them to take me off their list. It was something like number 6, some guy called the chef, then 69 Wan King, the big boss or something, and 100 which was obviously a total scam. And then, bam, the line just went dead on me.

This number has buzzed me at least three times over the last couple of days. When I finally answered today, I could hear a lot of background noise like a busy call centre. As soon as I said my name, they just hung up - then I got the dead tone like the number wasn’t even real. Before this, they always said they were calling from BT, but I've never had BT as my provider. They tried to say my internet was linked to BT or something, which sounded dodgy. I usually just tell them off and end the call. I’ve got pretty strong internet protection anyway, so I’m not worried.

About an hour back I left a review, but despite that, I've been getting calls from this same number 4 more times. It's really annoying, especially since I told them I'd call the cops if they kept ringing me.

Just got a call real early today from someone with a heavy foreign accent claiming to be from BT tech support. They told me my computer was hacked and there was some security issue. Total scam, didn’t even bother and just ended the call straight away.

Got three calls from this number, sounded like an Indian bloke saying he was from BT's tech support. Had two calls just before 9 this morning, one was a woman from India and the second was a man also Indian. The bloke then passed me on to a tech guy who tried to explain there was a problem! They said hackers had accessed my PC and offered to fix it! I told them to send me everything in an email, then they just cut off the call!

I don’t understand why these scammers can’t just find real work instead of messing about with honest folks. They keep ringing me, claiming to be from BT’s tech team, and this has been going on for over a year now. They always threaten to cut me off if I don’t follow their instructions, but nothing ever happens!
