Got a call from a guy with a thick eastern accent who said his name was Alex and he was ringing from Microsoft. I told him straight up that he wasn’t from anywhere legit and that he was just trying to scam me. Told him to stop being daft and not bother calling again. Then I blocked the number.

About five minutes back, someone rang me claiming my computer was under attack - blimey, not this nonsense again! I was at work, so I decided to humour him for a bit. When he twigged I wasn’t taking him seriously, he shouted something like “bugger off, missy, don’t mess with me” before slamming down the phone. Had it on speaker, so my colleagues caught every word. It’s unbelievable these creeps can keep doing this. Still, he brightened up my day calling me “missy” lol!

Got a call from a bloke with a funny accent claiming to be from Microsoft support. I told him he’d got the international computer fraud hotline at Scotland Yard instead. Didn’t take long before he ended the call...

I don't trust this number at all. Someone rang me claiming to be from Microsoft (Windows OS) and said my computer was being hacked. It sounded dodgy, so I asked them to email me since they should have my contact info. The caller rang back with a licence key, but I haven’t checked if it was legit yet. I told them to call back in ten minutes. After that, I looked up the number and it seems totally suspicious. The caller tried to ring me again but didn’t leave any message afterwards.

Got a call earlier claiming to be from Microsoft regarding some dodgy hacking business on my Windows system. I was a bit sceptical about its legitimacy, so I asked them to drop me an email since they surely have my contact info. They rang me back, providing a licence key number which I haven't checked yet to see if it’s the real McCoy. I asked the caller to ring me back in ten minutes. After that, I decided to search the number online and concluded that it's likely a scam. They've tried to contact me again but didn’t leave any additional messages.

Got a call from some bloke threatening to block my computer - proper nasty and rude he was. Said he was from Microsoft but I knew straight away he was lying. Now I just tell them, "This is the police, what can I do for you?" and they hang up quickly every time!

I just got a call from someone pretending to be from Microsoft, saying there’s a problem with my computer. These scam calls happen to me all the time, so I asked straight away, “Who is this and what do you want?” The caller insisted they were from Microsoft. I repeated my question again, but when they still wouldn’t answer, I told them, “I’ve asked you twice, can you answer or is there an issue understanding?” They then started shouting abuse, so I just ended the call. Sure, sometimes Microsoft’s support can be iffy, but I didn’t expect them to swear at me!

Had a guy call me, said he was from BT. Told me my internet and landline would get cut if I didn’t sort it out. He then said press 1 for one thing or press 2 for the other. Sounded pretty dodgy to me.

Got a call from this number on 8th June 2019 claiming to be from Microsoft. I just hung up straight away. Later, I got a call I was actually waiting for, but when I checked the voicemail from 1571, the caller left some really rude messages, calling me awful names and telling me off for ending the call. Proper unpleasant!

Some bloke rang me claiming to be from Microsoft, saying my computer was getting hacked and he needed access to fix it. I told him to stop calling and hung up straight away. But then he kept ringing me non-stop, like 20 times in just a few hours! He started shouting, swearing, and threatening me, saying he wouldn’t stop phoning. I’ve reported him to my phone company and Action Fraud. Honestly, steer well clear of these people.

I received a call from this number, claiming to be from Microsoft, and they stated that my computer might have been compromised. The caller probed whether I was sitting at my computer. I bantered back, asking if it was hacked with a bloody axe or a chainsaw, and then he cut off the line. Quite the laugh, really!

Got a ring from this number earlier today. Some bloke with a thick Indian accent said his name was Eric and claimed he was from Microsoft. He said there was something wrong with my PC and that he could help me sort it out. I quickly told him I wasn’t interested and that it sounded like a dodgy scam, since Microsoft don’t check your computer like that. He tried to argue for a bit, but I ended the call. After that, I blocked the number through my phone company to stop any more calls from them.

Some bloke rang pretending to be from my internet company, but he lost it when I asked him who supplies my internet. He started naming BT and then rattled off loads of other firms. Honestly, it was more funny than anything else. I told him he'd probably fare better at a proper job since he was rubbish at being a scammer.

Received a call at 4 PM today, 6th June 2019. The caller claimed to be from Microsoft, insisting that there was a hacker lurking on my computer. I took my time with him, dragging the conversation out as long as possible just to frustrate him. Eventually, he started hurling insults at me! After nearly twenty minutes of this back-and-forth, he finally hung up on me. Quite the experience!

Got a call from some bloke named Eric claiming he was with Microsoft. He insisted my laptop was hacked and offered to fix it. I told him straight up it sounded dodgy and that I was ending the call. Then he started shouting at me, swearing like mad saying, “Listen, you motherf###er!” That pretty much confirmed to me it was all a scam.

Honestly, BT could stop all these scam calls but they choose not to, probably 'cause they're making some cash from it too. It's like we're stuck needing protection not just from the con artists but from BT as well.

Just got a call from that dodgy scammer again, literally like an hour ago. I put a comment here earlier saying something like "These scammers swap numbers more often than they change their trousers." I kicked myself for not spotting it sooner. Honestly, that bloke's phone deserves to be shoved where the sun don't shine. You know what I mean!

These scammers must swap their phone numbers like they change socks, seriously! It’s so flipping irritating for everyone trying to get on with their day. Total computer scam, no doubt about it.
