I got a call from an Asian guy claiming I was owed money for a loan from years ago. He wanted me to jot down some info which made me suspicious coz I never took a loan from HSBC before. Then he passed me to another Asian bloke who said the same thing, wanting details and even tried to say my own phone number - that wasn’t right at all! I hung up, but he called back like five times. I let the phone ring without picking up, but never got any voicemail or message. Seemed dodgy to me.

Even though my number is on the TPS list, I got a call from 02151215115. A guy named "Mike" claiming to be from "UK Financial Services" called. Pretty sure it’s a scam, and he sounded like an Asian bloke. Avoid!

This number has rung me no fewer than twenty times, and they even have my name and address. They keep insisting that I’m entitled to PPI and are asking for my banking information. Is there any way to block this number?

This bloke with an Asian accent called and specifically asked for me. I told him “He’s not here at the moment” and he snapped back, “Then why are you the one picking up his phone?” After he threw a few swear words at me, I just ended the call. Usually I think of scammers being slick, polished folks with rehearsed lines that sound believable. This guy deserves a whole different category.

Got a call earlier saying I was owed a refund from a loan supposedly taken out back in 2005 and paid off by 2008. They said it was with Lloyds TSB through some finance firm that’s now (surprise surprise) gone out of business. I told them I was baffled because I’ve never had a loan and checked my bank records - there’s no way I ever paid anything to any finance company then.

This number called me four times in just one day! I've already signed up with the TPS but it doesn't seem to help. Can anyone actually do anything about these calls? When I tried to call the number back, it said it doesn't exist. So frustrating!

Got a call this morning from 02151215115 saying I’m due a £2500 PPI refund. When I asked for details, the bloke couldn’t explain a thing. Poor little Asian fella with an English name, looked proper lost once I ended the call. Really looking forward to baffling him or his mates a bit more. Idiots.

Our house got a couple of calls from this number today. My daughter picked up once and the chap on the line claimed a mate named Adam gave him her number. When she said she didn't know any Adam, they just ended the call. She mentioned the voice sounded like it was South African.

I got a call from someone saying they wanted to give me a refund for PPI, but I instantly knew it was a scam. I asked the woman to tell me her company’s name again, and when I told her I never had PPI, she just ended the call.

I got a call from 02151215115 from an Asian bloke saying I was owed £1,500 interest on a loan I supposedly took out 5 years ago. He even knew my home address, the exact loan amount, and my age. I asked how they got all that info on me, but he just said they’d send the paperwork by post. Then the call just ended.

I got a call from this number about 20 minutes ago and straight away I knew somethings fishy, defo a scam. Honestly, how are these scammers getting hold of our info? Like others have said, it was an Asian voice asking for someone by name saying they could give a PPI refund back into your bank. This really isn’t on.

Got some really nasty threats from them today. I've contacted the police and made an official complaint.

Just like everyone else has said here, it was an Indian guy with an English name, spouting rubbish about some PPI claim. He wanted me to verify my details, seemed to know my address too. I told him he had to show up in person and prove who he was first then I ended the call after saying something I definitely wouldn’t repeat or write down.

I got a call from these lot, with an Indian man speaking on the other end. I look after a house for an elderly, vulnerable person, and these people somehow knew all their details, like full name and address! I told them the person was away on holiday, and they asked when they left. I said they wouldn’t be back and weren’t interested, plus they’d never taken any loan out. Then they called me (and I quote) "a lying c###." I was like, “what?!” and they just started swearing at me before cutting off. I’ve contacted BT to block the number but the calls keep coming!

I've received a handful of calls from this number. An Asian gentleman on the other end claimed that I had a loan with Lloyds Bank and was due some money. I informed him that was simply not the case and ended the call. He then persisted, ringing me again and resorting to some rather offensive language.

Pretty much the same story here - this guy with a strong Asian accent, calling himself "Kevin" from some "Refund Department" talking about a £1600 refund on a loan they claim I took with Lloyds TSB back in 2005, supposedly settled in 2009. Told him I didn’t remember any of that, and he just called me a moron before hanging up. Really rude and dodgy lot.

Earlier today, I received a rather suspicious phone call from a gentleman with an overseas accent. He claimed that I had an outstanding loan, and there was a rather hefty sum of £4,800 waiting for me to claim. Naturally, I was curious to know how he came by such information, and he asserted that it had been sourced from the bank. I expressed my discontent about my personal banking details being shared so casually and asked him to hang on while I reached out to my bank for clarification. At that point, he abruptly disconnected the call. Curious, I used the 1471 service to trace the number, which turned out to be the one listed above. This isn't my first run-in with such dubious calls from this number; in fact, I've noticed their attempts to reach me on several occasions lately. Quite baffling really!

Got loads of these calls, all sorts really, so I just mess about with them and chew up their time. They always hang up swearing, some of the stuff they say’s well too rude to post here, though one called me out for ‘doing something with my mum’. I’m 74, probably why they target me, but I’m still sharp as a tack so they’d have to be quick if they wanna catch me out. Best advice: just ignore and put the phone down.

Within just one hour, I got calls from three different people who sounded Asian - Mike, Kate and George - all saying I had a refund from a loan supposedly taken out in 2004. Mike told me the refund was £1,435, Kate said £2,000 and George also mentioned £2,000. I told them I’ve never taken out a loan in my life so their info must be wrong. As soon as I said that to Kate, she just hung up - really rude and a total waste of my time! Proper annoying harassment and I reckon it’s a dodgy scam!

0215 1215115 rang me thrice today, the caller was really hard to make out and kept saying i owe money. i told him I already sorted things directly with Lloyds and it was all fine now. he got annoyed and claimed I was due money for some claim but they didn’t have enough papers. i told him I’d note his number and double check with the bank myself. he got angry and I just ended the call. seriously, why is no one shutting these people down? where’s the government in all this?

I used 1471 to check the number and tried ringing it back to sort it out, but it said the number wasn’t recognised. Strange!

I received a call from this chap who immediately started droning on about PPI. When I mentioned that I hadn’t been involved with anything relevant to me, I asked him to refrain from calling me again. That’s when things took a nasty turn. He became rather nasty and used some foul language more than once, which prompted me to hang up. Just two minutes later, he was at it again, incessantly ringing. Eventually, I asked him what he actually wanted, and his response was quite revolting; he mentioned something about wanting me to visit his home for work. When I probed further about the nature of the work, he made some utterly inappropriate comment. I’m turning 65 next month, so it was quite distressing. Consequently, I reported the incident to the police through 102, and they took down all the necessary information. Honestly, I’m a bit shaken up and think I’ll avoid answering calls for the next few days.

Someone rang me claiming to be from a PPI Claims company based in Manchester, trying to confirm my details. They said the bank had handed over my info to get in touch. They mentioned I supposedly took out a loan back in 2005 for about £5000 and that I was owed £4000 compensation. They assured me it was free to claim. I asked them to send all the info over, but I’m certain this is a SCAM. They knew a bit about me which could easily fool others who are more trusting. These unsolicited calls really should be banned!

Got a call on my phone from someone looking for my sister-in-law. He seemed to know bits about her, but not that she’s moved away. He kept pressing to find out who I was, and I told him it was none of his business since he wasn't trying to speak to me. He wouldn’t drop it, so I ended the call. Then he rang back swearing at me for hanging up. Definitely a scam!

He asked why I hung up, and I replied it was simply my choice. He then inquired if I was disabled, to which I cheekily admitted, "Yes, I've lost my marbles." He sounded puzzled and asked what I meant, and I told him I’ve read something that’s scrambled my wits. After that, he swiftly ended the call.

Honestly, someone needs to sort this out before some poor soul falls victim to their scam!

Got a call from a guy with a posh English accent who actually knew my mum's full name and where she lives. He said she’d paid too much on her credit card and was about to give her some money back. Then he asked how old she is. That made her suspicious, so she questioned who he really was. He asked one more time for her age, and when she questioned him again, he just cut the call. Proper dodgy, definitely a scam. Really made her feel uneasy.
