I had a rather curious experience with a landline call from this number. A chap on the other end claimed to be from Windows, insisting he could see I had a virus on my computer. Quite peculiar, really, since I wasn't even using my laptop, and my kids were in the other room playing. I decided to check in with them, and surprise, they weren't on it at all! Normally, I wouldn’t entertain calls like this, but for reasons unknown, I thought I’d humour it and see how it unfolded. As the conversation progressed, I could tell he was starting to lose his cool, and he even began hurling some choice words my way! I must admit, I found it hilariously amusing-not least because he struggled to articulate most of the expletives. Maintaining my composure, I returned the favour with a few explicit terms of my own and expressed my sorrow for him and his entire lineage! I’ve concluded without a shadow of a doubt that this is a blatant SCAM!

Got a call from a guy with an Asian accent, said he was from Windows support. Luckily for me, I actually work in IT, so I played along for a bit. But when he figured out I wasn’t buying any of it, he ended up swearing at me! What a lovely bloke.

Yesterday, a lady with an Indian accent rang me pretending to be from Microsoft, and then today, an Indian bloke did the same. I kept asking them questions and both times they ended up cutting the call.

My other half answered the phone and only got down their number. As soon as she asked them to ring back, they just disconnected. Proper annoying.

This guy with an Indian accent called me up, claiming there was a problem with my picture. Being a former IT support engineer, I asked him if that was true and challenged him to tell me my static IP address (which I don’t even have, mine's dynamic). He quickly spouted some random numbers that made it clear he was full of it. I kept pretending to go along for about 10 minutes just to waste his time. Eventually, he got rude and started shouting. I’m curious what the authorities are actually doing about these scams, but honestly, it feels like nothing at all.

Got a call from a guy with an Indian accent claiming to be from a tech support crew. He kept going on about suspicious things happening on my computer and said it was full of viruses. I gave him a moment to talk but then snapped at him, saying he was obviously trying to con me and I had no interest. He then muttered something like "control man," so I told him not to ring me anymore and hung up straight away.

I missed a call earlier, so I used 1471 to find out the number and since then it’s been ringing non stop - like six times this morning already! What’s weird is, I changed my ebay details just yesterday and accidentally put my home phone as a contact number. Not surprised these calls have started right after that.

The woman on the line had a dreadful command of English and claimed her call was linked to a medical issue. I firmly told her to clear off, suspecting it was a complete scam. Strangely, she rang back the very next day, asserting she was from TalkTalk. I didn't hesitate to offer her the same dismissive response. She also had the audacity to inquire whether my computer was secure!

I got a call from 02147364127, supposed to be the "windows tech team". A woman with an Indian accent told me there was some suspicious stuff going on with my computer. I figured I'd test her, so I asked "what's my name then, if you know so much about my computer?" She quickly said "Mrs Brown." That’s when I knew it was a scam. I told her she's picked the wrong person to mess with and that I’d be reporting this call to the police.

Received a call today around 4:04 PM, rather peculiar timing it seems, especially since it followed a prior call I actually answered. They were inquiring if I'd had any accidents. It strikes me as curious-could the earlier call have been a tactic to verify my number's legitimacy? It feels like that number was potentially sold off right after. Quite the shady business, if you ask me!

I got a call from a guy speaking with an Indian accent saying their main computer noticed some strange activity from mine. When I asked him for the IP address involved, he just ended the call on me!

Beware of a scam involving Supremo control. These fraudsters trick you into giving them access to your PC and everything on it by using the Supremo programme. It’s just a way to get into your device and steal your info.
