Got a missed call from this number while I was out, looked it up and gonna block it now, cheers everyone.

The number that appeared was this super long one: 442111252104. Felt a bit iffy about it so I chose not to pick up. Afterwards, I looked it up online and saw quite a few warnings from others saying it’s some kind of scam. Decided to block it straight away.

These numpties really get on my nerves with their constant calls. It's such a waste of my time that I’ve decided to give them a taste of their own medicine. I just set the phone down and let them prattle on, then I chime in with a cheerful "Sorry, can’t quite hear you!" while I giggle to myself. What a right laugh!

I received a call from someone with an Asian accent who claimed to be in central London. They inquired if I had been getting inundated with marketing calls. When I cheekily indicated that I might be referring to this very call, they went right back to their rehearsed pitch without missing a beat! It’s clear to me that these are just scripted con artists!

They said they were from some 'Call Blocker Service' to help with all the annoying calls I've been getting. I wasn't having any of it, and then the bloke just called me a 'numpty' and hung up. Still chuckling about it now.

I’ve picked up this number a few times and ended the call quickly twice. The third time I let it ring out just to hear what they said, which ended up being a goodbye message. I’m really curious how they got my landline details since it’s a new number that hardly anyone knows about.

I've received a handful of calls from this number, all spouting the same old story about being linked to the government. Just this evening, when my husband received a call and passed the phone to me, I couldn't help but exclaim loudly, "THEY are the ones we don't want to hear from!" Naturally, they hung up before I could even answer. I've now lodged a complaint with the Telephone Preference Service, and I intend to keep at it. It makes me quite suspicious about how many of these 'International' or 'Withheld' numbers are simply another batch of con artists trying to pull the wool over our eyes, using seemingly credible numbers to trick us into answering.

I had a phone call at precisely 7:03 PM this evening (23/02/17). The person on the other end disconnected the line before uttering a word, and my voicemail didn’t pick up anything either. Again, at 7:03 PM today (23/03/17), my phone rang, but the line went silent as soon as my answering machine kicked in. Quite baffling!

Got a guy with an Indian accent on the line saying he was from some Call Prevention Service, worried about me getting loads of spam calls. I was like, 'you mean this one?' and just ended the call right there.

This number rang me three times yesterday and again this morning. Each time I answered, there was silence on the line. However, last night, an Asian woman introduced herself as from the so-called "government-backed Call Protection Service." She claimed they’d observed a surge in nuisance calls directed at my number. That was enough for me, and I promptly hung up.

Got calls from this number 3 times yesterday and again this morning. When I answered the first three calls, nobody said a word. But last night, a lady with an Asian accent said she was ringing from some "government backed Call Protection Service" and mentioned we’ve been getting loads of unwanted calls recently. It’s rather perplexing, isn’t it? If this number is indeed associated with scams, one would think our telecom providers would take the initiative to block it proactively. Just yesterday evening at 8.16pm, they rang our home, but we didn’t pick up. To add to the silliness, I even received a call from a rather pleasant lady, who was clearly trying to peddle her service for blocking unwanted calls! What a conundrum!

This evening, around half past six, I received a rather dubious call. An individual with an Asian accent introduced herself as representing a government-affiliated body working alongside the Telephone Preference Service, claiming she was there to assist in registering my number to curb unwanted calls in the future. Strangely, she already had my phone number and address. Then she handed me over to her so-called "Manager" to confirm my registration with a few more queries. During the conversation, he insisted that I verify the credit card I used to pay my phone bill, mentioning its expiry date as well. When I told him I wasn't comfortable discussing my credit card information, he insisted he only needed confirmation of the details he supposedly already had. Once again, I declined to share anything about my payment methods, and just like that, he hung up. Clearly, this was a phishing attempt-consider yourselves warned!

so yeah, this was one of those annoying calls about annoying calls!!! guy didnt get anywhere cos i just kept making bored noises and he just gave up and hung up. IF ANYONE WANTS YOUR BANK OR CARD INFO OVER THE PHONE, JUST TELL THEM TO JUMP IN A LAKE!

Received a call from this number earlier today. Upon inquiry, the chap on the other end, who had a distinct Indian accent, claimed to represent a fraud protection service. When I remarked that his manner suggested something dodgy was afoot, he resorted to rather foul language, culminating in a rather obscene suggestion. Quite unbelievable!

The moment I uttered "Hello," they cut the line immediately. There's no doubt they're definitely not affiliated with the CPS (Crown Prosecution Service) or the TPS for that matter!

I’m proper gutted with myself, nearly fell for this dodgy call from some bloke called JACK claiming he was with TPS, said he could block all the scam calls about this government pension thing for old folks in Perticula. He made it sound legit, but as soon as he started asking for my card info, I got suspicious. I ended up telling him the expiry date but when he wanted the full card number, I just hung up.

I received a call today from someone with a thick Indian accent claiming to represent a government-affiliated firm named Cepl, located in London. They mentioned that I could register my number to avoid unwanted calls. However, given the multitude of scams these days, I requested some way to verify their identity before sharing any information. At that point, the line went quiet, so I ended the call. What unnerved me was that they had my full name. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

02111252104 I’m thinking this number might be on some sort of autodialer, cos when you pick up, no one talks back. Sounds like they’re making money every time someone answers, considering it rings about 10 times a day. So basically, they’re raking in 10 times the call charges without lifting a finger. If you try calling it, you just get a busy tone. Would be brilliant if someone who knows their stuff could track down the company behind it and give ‘em a taste of their own medicine by bombarding them with automated calls too.

I received a call from this number earlier today. A man answered but his thick accent made it quite challenging for me to understand what he was saying. I had to ask him to repeat himself several times. He then began to read from some script on his screen, but I interrupted him, expressing my discomfort with the conversation. I made it clear that I'd be investigating his number, which I promptly did. I hung up before he had a chance to respond. It really gave off a scam vibe - I always recommend never to share personal information or any other sensitive details with questionable callers like this one.

Just got a call from a William Smith claiming he was from TPS making updates to the service. Felt a bit off when he asked for security details. He kept pushing and called again. Got quite annoyed when I refused to give my card number. Ended the call but said I could ring him back on 0800 083 9345. Looked it up and it matched the number he gave.

My elderly mother, who is 83, has been getting numerous calls from this number, claiming to be concerning her debts. It's quite troubling for her and has left her feeling quite anxious and bewildered. Just today, they rang once more, but all I could hear was silence before they abruptly disconnected the line. Received a call from this number at 8pm tonight, right in the thick of Valentine's Day! There was utter silence at first, and then after a few seconds, a robotic voice chimed in with a 'goodbye.' Honestly, I was completely thrown off! What a disruption to my evening!

An elderly lady suffering from dementia received a call from them, but she ended up hanging up. Then they called back, and my wife picked up the phone. The caller then launched into a tirade of foul language, insinuating something utterly distasteful about wanting a black man, in an exceedingly vulgar manner. Disgraceful behaviour!
