Reports on phone number 02089030405
8 yearsI received a missed call from this number earlier, so I decided to give it a ring back. An Asian woman picked up, and when I mentioned that I had missed a call from this number, she insisted, "No, it wasn’t me, somebody else must be messing with you. You’ve dialled incorrectly, this is the wrong number." I reminded her that I had called the number saved in my phone, which led me to hang up in frustration. Quite baffling, really!8 yearsI've just received a call from this number. A chap of Asian descent was on the line, insisting he was representing BT Broadband. He mentioned that my current internet connection isn’t secure! I was taken aback and responded, "Oh, is that so?" and then they just cut off. What can be done to prevent these nuisance calls? I've also had those HMRC scams pop up a few times!BT BroadbandHMRC8 yearsI received a call from a chap who claimed to be representing BT, but I could tell straight away something wasn’t quite right. He tried to convince me to allow him remote access to my computer. It was clear he was up to no good, probably fishing for personal data like credit card details and the like. Best to stay cautious with these types of callers!BTSubmit Your Own Report (020 8903 0405)
