I got a call from 02086696666 today, but as soon as I picked up, they just hung up. The number showed up as Akos Barbers on my screen. I looked them up and it turns out they’re a Turkish barber shop in Carshalton, but I live miles away from there! Feels dodgy to me, might be some kind of scam.

Got a voicemail from someone called "So Energy" asking me to ring them about setting up a payment plan. The number they left was 02080686664 and a guy named Patric was on the message. Thing is, it’s for my mum who passed away two years ago! Really annoying.

Got a call from someone who couldn’t say my name properly, which immediately set off alarm bells. They claimed to be from some appliance insurance firm and asked me to confirm the address tied to my appliance. When I said yes to my correct address, they suddenly announced I’d been overcharged by £###:### and they needed my card details to issue a refund. I told them straight up I know about scam calls and wasn’t giving out any info. They insisted it was impossible to refund without that, but I said since they already have my name and address, they could just send a cheque and I’d bank it myself. After that, the call abruptly ended and they never rang me again. Funny how that happened! The number was ### 62###288 if anyone’s curious.

Got a call from 020 8066 0218, the person had a really heavy foreign accent and said they were from O2. I told them I'd already asked O2 to stop calling me, so either they weren’t listening or it’s some kind of scam. They hung up after that.

Got a couple of calls from some bloke saying he was with BT. He told me my IP address was compromised and that I needed to change it to keep it private. According to him, if I didn’t sort it out, my internet would be cut off within 19 hours. I told him it sounded dodgy and that I wouldn't do anything without checking with someone knowledgeable first. He said he’d give me another call in about an hour.

It’s nonstop! They start calling super early around 6 in the morning. I just ignore it and let it buzz without picking up since I already know what it’ll be. I keep getting calls from 02086 ###. One time this woman with an Asian accent called and was quite abrupt, so my husband just hung up straight away. Then a guy, sounded Indian, said he was from BT Openreach and that my internet signal was getting worse and needed fixing. I told him everything was working fine. He then asked me to switch on my laptop or computer so they could test the broadband. I’d heard about these being scams, so I made up some excuse and he said he’d ring me back. I’ve since blocked that number.

He was speaking in a bad French accent, telling me I was owed some bank refund. The moment I told him I'd get my voice recorder ready and to hold on, the call got cut off! So fishy.
