This number's definitely dodgy. When you pick up, there's a noticeable pause 'cause it's some kind of auto dialler. They only put you through if one of their crooks is available, otherwise it just cuts off straight away. If someone picks up, it’s usually a voice with an Asian accent asking if they're speaking to you by name. Make sure to ask who's calling right back. Don't give your name away. Then, ask again in a firmer tone who it is. Usually, they just hang up and try to scam someone else.

This caller had a heavy Indian accent and was rattling on about some survey or trying to sell cheese, I think? I told them to hang about while I fetched my mum to deal with it (I’m 52 myself!). Oddly enough, when I looked 2 hours later, the line was dead - they’d apparently given up! 😀

Got a call from someone who sounded Indian, talking nonsense about a quick 50 sec survey or maybe some cheese sale, not quite sure. I told them to hold on while I went to grab my mum (I'm actually 52, lol). Weirdly, when I looked back a couple of hours later, the call had been dropped! 😀

Today, 10th June 2019, around 10.04 in the morning, I got a call and the voice sounded familiar from a past call. They even said my name, like they’d got it from the voters register or maybe one of those BT DVDs? Either way, I just ended the call straight away.
