I received a call from some folks claiming we'd won a holiday, but they wanted us to fork out about £600 and provide our card details. I thought it was a bit dodgy, so I had a look online and found a bunch of other comments that raised my concerns. To be on the safe side, we asked them for the last three digits of our card number-something they should have known already-but she couldn’t provide them. We then said we’d reach out to their UK office instead, and I swear, she huffed and made a rude noise before hanging up. My advice? Never, ever share your card information with them!

Since the beginning of October last year, we’ve been chasing the return of our £598.00 from CB Holidays. On top of that, Banctech hit our account with an extra £628.00, but thankfully we managed to get that sorted out and refunded. We’re actively in touch with our bank and have also involved trading standards in this mess. Fingers crossed we’ll see our money back soon!

I ordered a ring on July 11, 2008, but I haven’t received any confirmation yet. Do these folks even exist?

I received a call on the 15th of December, around 6 o’clock, where a lovely lady named Chris informed me that I had won a holiday to Florida along with a cruise to the Bahamas. She was very courteous, but I must admit, we had an inkling that this might not be on the level. So, we decided to let them know we’d be checking with both the website and our credit card company to verify the legitimacy of this claim before hanging up.

We've also received a call, ended up paying by credit card, and now we find ourselves in a bit of a pickle trying to cancel ever since. Initially, the holiday sounded enticing, but with the current financial squeeze, we've had a change of heart. Unfortunately, our attempts to get any assistance from Visa have been less than fruitful, and reaching "the holiday folks" has proven to be an exercise in frustration. We're keen to cancel within the thirty-day window, but it's utterly bewildering when you can't seem to connect with them. What on earth are we supposed to do?

On the 22nd of September, we fell victim to a scam perpetrated by dbholidays. We were baffled as to why they required our card numbers and had our doubts about their intentions. There were discussions with various members of their team, even being put in touch with a so-called manager, but it all felt very dodgy. At one point, we were led to believe we had been mistaken about withholding information. They went ahead and charged our card without any confirmation email landing in our inbox. We are actively pursuing a refund. I’ve noticed that Mafy and Ho Ho Ho Santa from the UK have managed to retrieve their money-I'm keen to find out how they accomplished that because we are desperate to get our £598 back. I’ll be keeping an eye on this space for updates.

We received a call from these individuals that lasted a whopping 40 minutes. I ended up giving them our phone number, but then I swiftly cancelled it with Visa after they informed me that this lot had already tried to withdraw funds from our account three times. Our card has now been cancelled, and we're currently waiting for a replacement. When we were transferred to Visa to go over the claim made by CB Holidays, we decided to hang up.

I recently received a rather dubious phone call informing me that I had won a two-month holiday to Florida. They asked for various details, including my address and the name on my credit card. However, when I began to question their motives-after about 40 minutes of conversation-they abruptly hung up on me. It seems these individuals are quite persistent, yet they rely heavily on obtaining our card information to proceed. I can't help but wonder if they secretly possess my name, address, and email already. Is there any guidance you could provide regarding this situation?

Avoid CB Vacation and Special T Travel like the plague! These folks are nothing but a bunch of charlatans. If you've got any cash owed to you, don't hesitate to get in touch with the owner, Johnathan, at 001407-414-1487. Seriously, steer clear of booking holidays with them-it's all a ruse! They seem to think we're a bunch of dimwits over here in the U.K. . . . .

A few days ago, we received a call from these individuals that lasted around 40 seconds. We had previously shared our phone number with them, but immediately thereafter, we decided to cancel this with Visa. They informed us that these callers had already had three attempts to siphon money from our account. Consequently, our card has been cancelled, and I'm now in the process of awaiting a replacement. When we got transferred to Visa to verify some claims regarding our holiday cashback, we cut the call short.

On the 10th of November, we received a call in which the person on the other end asked for our phone number. Things escalated into a bit of a heated exchange, during which we firmly told them that if they were after our credit card details, they could definitely count us out. At that point, they abruptly hung up. Honestly, never share your credit card information with anyone; you just never know who you're dealing with!

On the 10th of November, we received a call from someone named Ty who asked for our phone number. After that, we felt compelled to address the issue regarding our phone, but it ended up being quite distressing. To be honest, when they started asking for our credit card details, we had had enough and decided to terminate the conversation. Just a word of caution, do not share your credit card information with strangers; you truly have no idea who you're speaking with.

Every evening around eight, we keep getting calls from someone going on about some discounted holidays to Florida and Hawaii, claiming savings of between £1800 to £600 for a group of four. Then, before you know it, they’re saying they'll connect us with the Visa card centre and want our card details for “verification”. We hung up straight away; it seemed like a proper scam to us. The chap on the other end introduced himself as Nicolas.

I just received a call moments ago, but I certainly didn’t share my credit card details with them.

We're all caught up in their trickery, aren’t we? I've tried numerous times to terminate my contract, but each time I ring, I’m left in the dark with no response whatsoever. I’ve even dropped a voicemail, yet still, crickets. Honestly, steering clear of this lot would be wise; they’re the worst of the worst, preying on diligent folks trying to get by. If anyone’s managed to reclaim their funds from these chancers, I’d love to hear how you pulled it off-we’d be so thankful for any tips!

Received a call from them, but only paid attention after seeing these reviews. It seems they were quite dismissive when we mentioned that our credit card was at its limit.

Received a call, you say? Well, on the 7th of November back in 2008, I made a purchase but never received any confirmation. I’m starting to wonder if these folks are even real!

About two months back, we received a call from these folks, and we ended up booking a holiday through them. We returned just a month ago, and honestly, all they emphasized was that the trip needed to be taken within the next two years. Now, as someone who's fond of Florida and has visited before, I can say it was certainly worth it! With the temperatures here in the UK being so chilly, a getaway is much needed. Cheers to that!
