Anyone know who this is? That number doesn’t seem familiar. It sounds like a legit UK number but I’d bet it’s actually an expensive international line! If you call back, you might get caught up in the popular “one-ring” phone rip-off. Basically, what happens is scammers use automatic dialling machines to ring mobile numbers everywhere. If you pick up, they just hang up quickly. The idea is that you’ll be tempted to return the call, maybe thinking you missed something important or just curious about who tried to reach you. But if you do, you'll probably hear a message like, “You’ve reached the operator, please wait.” Meanwhile, you’re racking up big charges - both per minute and international fees.

i'm not sure if it was spam or not, but since I've got no minutes left, couldn't ring them back. figured they might give me another call after i didn't pick up, but nothing yet. waiting to see if they try again.
